Living at Raymont College was great preparation for living as an international student abroad and provided a great foundation for interacting with so many different people across university and social life. I was also greatly helped by Dr Dale (Raymont’s Emeritus Academic Advisor) in applying for the New Colombo Plan scholarship. I am so grateful for the Raymont community for all the support I have received.
Raymont College has been ‘my home away from home’ over the past few years as I completed my studies to become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer through Aviation Australia. The opportunities to form long-lasting friendships, build independence, grow in confidence and my faith as well as being connected to a supportive network of students and staff who also value study, helped me to thrive and fit into a new environment away from my home state. I’d strongly suggest this place as a wonderful, safe accommodation environment for any student studying in Brisbane.
An awesome place to stay for students. The staff team are super welcoming and friendly. Its a very safe environment, there are plenty of social opportunities, and all of the practical things are taken care of. I thoroughly enjoyed my two years there.
When I moved into Raymont I was warmly welcomed and felt instantly at home! I’ve really enjoyed my time at college. I found support in my study, built life-long friendships, and had heaps of fun with sports and social events.
