Location of Raymont Residential College

Raymont Residential College is located in Auchenflower, an inner city suburb of Brisbane, Queensland.

Auchenflower itself is a quiet, green and leafy residential suburb. Within easy walking distance are convenience stores, medical centres, pharmacies, restaurants, cafes, pubs and public transport.

Close to trains, buses and ferries, it’s quick and easy to get to the Brisbane CBD, Toowong, and Indooroopilly shopping town—one of the largest shopping centres in Brisbane.

Access to education

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) has campuses at Gardens Point (in the Brisbane CBD) and Kelvin Grove.

University of Queensland (UQ) St Lucia campus is easy to access, with many students taking bus. Students can also catch the City Cat ferry to UQ from the Toowong Regatta terminal which is only a short walk from college.

Griffith University has major campuses at Nathan and Mt Gravatt, both accessible by bus. The Conservatorium of Music and Queensland College of Art located centrally at South Bank. A walk along the river and across one of Brisbane’s bridges, or a short ferry ride, is an enjoyable way to travel to this part of Brisbane.

All campuses are within 5km of Raymont Residential College. Most students utilise public transport to travel to university.

Australian Catholic University (ACU) is located at Banyo. Students attending ACU will need to travel by train to Northgate then catch either the ACU shuttle bus or the public transport bus.
